During December's SAAC meeting we discussed the native planet winter sowing event. At this event we will be working on starting seeds to be planted for the pollinator garden by the WTS softball field. This will be our SAAC service project, but non SAAC members are encouraged to join us. Please review the information and RSVP if you would be able to join us! We will be hosting a winter sowing workshop on Saturday, January 11th from 10AM-12noon at Meridian Woods (the old Campbell Street Cafe) 4245 Meridian Woods Drive Valparaiso, IN. This family-friendly event will be free but we will accept voluntary donations at the door to cover the costs of supplies and venue fees. Feel free to bring a packet of your favorite native plant seed if you wish-we will have some available as well. Come grow with us!
